Google Cloud project missing IAM administrator permissions – unable to enable Gemini API

Hello Google Cloud Community,

I need assistance with my Google Cloud project.

Project details:

  • Project ID: (PII Removed by Staff)

  • Project number: (PII Removed by Staff)

  • Organization: No organization

I am the only administrator I know of for this project. However, my Google account has limited permissions.

The following permissions are reported as missing:

  • resourcemanager.projects.setIamPolicy

  • resourcemanager.projects.update

  • serviceusage.services.enable

  • iam.serviceAccounts.get

My account currently has the API Keys Admin role, but I cannot edit IAM permissions or enable the Generative Language API.

This prevents me from configuring Gemini API access for my TradeSmart Pro application.

Could someone explain why these permissions are missing and how I can restore the appropriate administrative access?

I would appreciate guidance on the minimum permissions required.
