Google Calendar Integration

I am trying to add Google Calendar to AppSheet.

I have had NO success in getting it added as a Data Source. I have followed these instructions and it does not work.

It goes through the process and then returns and there is nothing added.

Add a Google Calendar as a data source

First, you must add a Google Calendar as a data source.

  1. Go to Appsheet and sign in to your account.
  2. Select My Account in the top navigation bar.
  3. Select Sources.
  4. Click + New Data Source.
  5. Enter a name for the data source in the field provided.
  6. Click Google Calendar and follow the prompts to authenticate.

Your Google Calendar account is now available as a data source for tables in any of your apps.

Can you share screenshots where you expected to see GCalendar and you didn’t?

Ok I did same and it appears to have worked ok!

This is the message I get… I select Google Calendar and I choose my account and it drops me back to the Add New Source Page with that error.

I have Advanced Protection active on my account… I think it has something to do with that.

I turned off “Advanced Protection” and I was able to complete the task and add my Google Calendar.
