Gemini Enablement in GCP

Hi is anyone else still having problems with enabling Gemini in GCP? We’ve provided all the IAM and service agent requirements but our project is still failing enablement.

Problem seems related to the Ai Companion user part of the Gemini API - we’ve enabled Gemini Code Assist but still no luck - this problem seems to go back to 2025, but GCP support is not helping at all - they sent us a link for “Gemini Support” which was for a crypto website called Gemini.

Could you please share the error you’re encountering when trying to enable Gemini in GCP? Also, where are you enabling it via the CLI or within a specific service? If possible, please also include a screenshot of the error.
