Forum editor- line spacing

The Tips and Tricks to Make the Most of the GCC post by @Michelle is straight forward enough, yet I’m still very annoyed by the unattractive nature of my posts here (I am using Chrome). Check out the line spacing (LS) as list my complaints :

(NOTE: I am typing all of the following with the format style= Paragraph) when I hit without any list (numbered or bulleted), I get a pretty big (I’d guess 1.5) LS

as I am illustrating here

1. then when change to a list, the LS loos to be consistent with that as non-listed and I can live with it
2. and if I keep the same level of indentation, things are looking good
   1. but the minute I increase indentation, bam, another 1.5 or 2 LS
3. and when I go back to previous level indent, it looks good again
   • same holds true if I switch to bulleted
     • (increased indent)

Any ideas on how to control/fix this?

I am convinced I have larger issues going on as PREVIEW does not do anything for me and after selecting it, my POST button gets ghosted and even after selecting EXIT PREVIEW, remains ghosted- I have to completely reload the page to get it back

My impression at the time was this forum was implemented by an inexperienced team and relied heavily on the sample features delivered with the initial software install. The sample features were only lightly customized and aren’t really well-fit to the community’s needs. Once implemented initially, the forum developers moved on and are now effectively absent, as next to nothing has changed in a long time.

So do you experience the same LS nuances (and lack of preview) that I mention here?
