Hi everyone! I work with looker on daily basis in my job and I have a question regarding the dashboards filters and consequently the performance.
I want to know how looker work regarding this filters:

  1. Looker load the results from the queries of each tile and then apply the dashboard filters, or;
  2. Looker load the results from the queries of each tile applying the filters before return the values?

In my opinion, filters are applied before returning the results:

After you make a new look with certain data sets and pre-set filters to generate specific charts/tables, more data will process if you try to run again with any additional filters.
