Hi all. I am trying to use the filter by e-mail function, I have a good understanding of how it’s meant to work. I have a test sheet with various data columns and a column for e-mail that includes only one e-mail per cell. When I enable filter by e-mail, it shows no data when I view it signed in to either of the e-mail addresses included in the sheet.
I even tried the work-around creating a custom calculated field using DS_USER_E-mail and have the same result.
What could I possibly be missing? Thank you!

I’m using Looker Studio, sorry I thought this was a Looker Studio specific forum.
@Heather_Henderson - I have moved your topic to the Looker Studio category under Looker. The Google Developer Program forums is the home to Google Cloud, Workspace Developer, Looker and AppSheet products.

Hi Heather, one thing to look into is whether there is variability in either the capitalization of your email addresses or the domain name. When you go to share the Looker Studio report, you’ll see in the sharing how Looker Studio is “reading” your account information from admin console. For instance, you might always have heather_henderson@mydomain.com in the spreadsheet but it might need to be written as Heather_Henderson@my-domain.com because that’s how it’s stored in admin console, even though the alternate works fine for emails and other things). Looker Studio is very picky with filter by email.
This is exactly what it was, thank you so much!
