File Upload Incomplete/Email Not Sent

With a ColType file/image I sometimes have “The selected image could not be found.#filename=file.pdf” as a value. Is there a workflow action I may perform on this, when a file upload does not complete?

Also, I use a workflow to send emails to customers. Is there an expression that would check if the email was successfully sent, also something that checks for an Undelivered response?
