In the Google Admin Console under Devices > Chrome > Settings > User & browser settings, there is a policy called Network file shares. It lets you define drop-down or premounted file shares for ChromeOS users.
It currently only lets you specify a URL and the Mode. It would help us a lot if we could also specify a Display Name (like you can if you’re mounting an SMB share manually on ChromeOS in the files app) and the Authentication method (SSO vs Default [which would end up being NTLMv2).
I’m able to mount our file share with SSO (erego Kerberos) if I do it manually, but when I try to deploy it through policy as premount, it doesn’t work and the share is just blank with no files or folders.
