Regarding this issue, is Aleksi’s comment the only official information from Google? We need details like the start time and the affected scope (Global, EU, APAC) to explain the situation to our end-users and internal teams.

If Google stays silent about this problem, App creators will trust AppSheet less and less.

Furthermore, as pointed out in this thread, the status dashboard was unhelpful once again.

I have seen such corporate dishonesty before when working in high places.

Staff end up not reporting a fault and have been asked by middle management to not report things in order to save skin or save face. In this way higher up seniors don’t get notified about issues and prevent triggering an investigation into potential mismanagment of the platform or even highlight the need to improve.

This then later shows they have clean stats, which is actually manipulated information to seniors, it’s incredible scary and dishonest that this seems to happen in corporates where certain key players are protecting themselves and destroying a great product.

Based on my experience in the Firebase Studio and Antigravity communities, it appears this silent treatment is standard operating procedure to varying degrees. I think this may just be normal for the “hyperscalers”, who are focused almost exclusively on chasing the next big thing at the expense of seemingly everything else.
