Anyone facing similar issues ? Appsheet consuming extreme memory in chrome (M2 Mac)
After couple of changes the appsheet tab freeze and crash losing all unsaved changes.

I recently upgraded my mac from 8GB ram to 24GB ram expecting a better performance but with current setup also appsheet uses extreme RAM and facing same issues for larger applications.

This bug appeared when AppSheet update the new column order type.

I’m afraid it’s the same for me, my friend Rifad. Especially when you scale in AppSheet, this happens, as the memory starts storing things we’re doing to use in some processes on the fly. For that issue, I’ve tried two solutions:
The first is refreshing the browser. Although it resets the memory, it doesn’t seem to be the most efficient. The second is to open AppSheet Gallery and open the app from another browser (closing the current one). This one proves to be more efficient.
However, we’re not addressing the problem; we’re just navigating through a situation that is beyond our control.

I also have high memory issues after I add a table. It continues until I close Chrome completely and then reopen it.

I simply close and reopen the editor. I use google chrome.

Is your question asking what we are doing at the time the issue presents itself (i.e. root cause analysis) or are you asking what we are doing once it has happened, to resolve the issue (i.e. workaound for managing the problem)?
I feel like my original comment had both of those aswers, so feel free to add a third context for your question.

No, they haven’t. They just instructed me to clear cookies 2 years ago. I am not even sure they are even aware of this.
I had two tabs open: Anthropic and Appsheet. I suspect Anthropic is causing the 24 GB max, but Appsheet contributes as well. I’ve noticed Appsheet can max out around 10 GB when both the editor and the app are open. The issue arises primarily with a large app I’m working on, after upto 10 saves where each UI click takes 1-5 seconds to load. The 24 GB max includes both Appsheet and Anthropic, with approximately 60% due to Anthropic and 40% from Appsheet.
