I’m having an issue with one of my dashboards where I’m trying to filter data based on “audience name” using a control dropdown list. The goal is to exclude a specific “audience name,” but when I do this, the entire dashboard stops working. All tables and charts show that data is missing. However, if I select all “audience names” or just one, the dashboard works perfectly. This indicates that the data is available and should work, even when I exclude a specific “audience name.”
In the dashboard, we’re looking at the following data types:
- Sessions
- Channel
- Custom event
- Device
I’ve read on several forums that there can be issues combining “audience names” in certain ways. Is this true, or should it be possible to exclude a specific “audience name” via a control dropdown filter without the dashboard failing? What’s your experience, and is there a good way to make this work?
