Error in apigee X/ apigee hybrid project setup

Hi All,

I wanted to use apigee but was confused which one to choose from between apigee hybrid or apigee X.

So I started with setting up apigee hybrid using steps mentioned in the documents : https://cloud.google.com/apigee/docs/hybrid/v1.5/precog-overview

But when I try to create an API proxy on https://apigee.google.com/edge and try to test it there isn’t any deployment available under deployments-> service accounts ( I have manually created environment and environment group) . I followed the steps but I got to know I don’t have an instance associated and when I went on instance page to create it under admin → instance, it gives me message “You cannot create new instances in Apigee Hybrid.” Atlast I tried to setup Apigee X for my project (https://apigee.google.com/setup)) but there I am getting an error when I am using my project id “This project has enabled Apigee Hybrid evaluation and cannot use this page” . So can anyone help me to make my hybrid project as non hybrid please.

You’ll need to use a new project for Apigee X.

Would expect you would want to use Apigee X unless you have a use case where you want the runtime to be installed on premise / outside of Google Cloud. But you then need to configure, install, manage the runtime as you have encountered

So I created new project for Apigee X and followed https://cloud.google.com/apigee/docs/api-platform/get-started/eval-orgs . Now I am trying to test the existing hello-world API that was created during the process but there isn’t any service account under deployment? I searched and found this : https://www.googlecloudcommunity.com/gc/Apigee/ApigeeX-no-active-runtime-pods/m-p/40770/highlight/true#M34766 . I tried these steps but still can’t see any service account under deployment
