Error: API Method disabled (abnormally high traffic)

I’m getting the following error in one of my apps:

I am making use of the API; but I wouldn’t consider my use ‘excessive’.

I have 3 workflows which are checked every time a record is added (20/hr). Nothing happens with these workflows unless certain criteria are met, which occurs maybe 3 times an hour. When the criteria is met, a webhook is firing which POSTS some simple data to a different table. All in all, a pretty simple process - what are the limits regarding this?
