Emails sent via WP Mail SMTP with google mailer to my alias email address appear in sent not inbox

I added a contact form on my webpage built using wordpress and completed the steps for WP Mail SMTP for google mailer.

I arranged one of my alias (say contact-forms@domain.com) as send from alias (I ticked the “treat as alias” option in the “Send mail as” from gmail settings too), and used another alias address (say info@domain.com) as send to email address in WP Mail SMTP.

I assumed when a visitor on my page submits the form, it should appear on inbox of info@domain.com. Instead I only see the email on my sent folder and not in inbox or spam, therefore no notification. I’m adding the email details as image below.

What can I do to find these emails on my inbox instead of sent folder?

I’m having the same problem. I’ve seen posts in other places but I have yet to see a solution. Hopefully, someone will find one.
