Editing Tiles Within Dashboards

Hello Looker Community. When I am editing a tile within a dashboard, I am running into the problem that once I save it, the filter that narrows the query to within a specified range of dates for the Dashboard no longer works for that one tile. Is anyone else having this issue?

Hi there - you might be running into an issue where global filters (the filters at the top of the dashboard) are overriding the underlying tiles filters.

If the underlying tiles filters are the ones you want to keep, you can update the dashboard filters to “do not filter” for that particular tile under the filter > settings > tiles to update.
