Dropdown limitation(s)?

I have a list of ‘values’ in a table I’m using as a Valid_If reference. All but one entry are numbers:

1102
1103
1302
1303
9201
Corp

For some reason the ‘Corp’ entry no longer shows up in my list of choices. (it used to until I added a couple of numbers in the middle, (1302, 1303)) and ever since then, my dropdowns have been broken.

Any suggestions would be awesome! I did recreate the listings on another sheet and used the new sheet as a reference, but that didn’t work either. I’ve been reading & googling dependent drop downs, but I’m not sure why it broke to begin with.

What is the Valid if expression you’re using?

hi @Steve - actually it was =sheetTabName[columnName].

funnily enough though, I just deleted the new sheet I made to hold the data (I’d seen someone suggest that), and after removing the table & reference table, etc, it all works now…

weird…right?
