Hi community !
I want to share a report that has more than one data sources.
But when a user tries to copy it, the name of the data sources are not displayed (see screenshot).
I have tried various settings but the name of data source never comes up.
I know that if I share data source to specific user it will come up but that’s not what I want. I want anybody to be able to see what data source he need to connect so that it’s easy to copy.
Any workaround for this ?

Yes — this is a common limitation in Looker Studio. When you share a report for copy without sharing the data sources, the data source names show as (Unknown).
Possible workaround:
Add a text box in the report listing the data source names and instructions, so users know what to reconnect.
Or create a separate documentation page or section in the report with the data source details.
Unfortunately, there’s no built-in setting to expose source names automatically when they’re not shared.

I tried putting the data sources as public but that does not work either.
