Deleting Images from Tablet

Hi all,

This topic is a question regarding saving images on an iPad tablet. If users capture and upload images via tablet they are uploaded to a cloud storage folder for example, uploading a POD Image will upload the image into a One Drive folder “Orders_Images” and the excel sheet will contain the filepath for that image “Orders_Images/Order No.POD Page 1.jpg”.

In addition the image taken is also saved onto the tablet device in the gallery; is there anyway that the photos can be automatically deleted from the tablet after the app has synced and the image is uploaded to the cloud?

Or is it a case of soemone manually clearing the gallery?

Thanks

I’m afraid there is no opion where you could make that choise. It means you need to manually delete them.

I had a question about images along these lines.

As we capture images they’re uploaded into the cloud, they stay there even if the record is deleted; does the app still cache all these images?

For example: I upload 100 records (with images) which gives me 100 images in my cloud folder.

Say we delete 50 of these records (but not the corresponding images in the cloud folder) - when we load the app, how many images will be cached? 50? or the full 100?
