I have enabled Apigee recently but decided that I don’t need it soon after. I have deleted all instances and environments but I am still getting billed for Apigee daily. How do I stop this? How do I delete Apigee entirely from my project?
Hello @sphinx9 , to stop being billed for Apigee and delete entirely from your project, please follow this guide “Discontinue Apigee Pay-as-you-go pricing services”, it has the steps to ensure all services are properly discontinued.
Hello @sphinx9 ! The billing associated with Apigee PAYG has to do with environments being attached to runtime instances and the number of api calls. Charges may also come from other components configured along the way. You can check the following list of step that may offer some guidance:
1. Detach environments from runtime instance: it should stop charges associated with environments.
Important Note: For organizations with BillingType EVALUATION, an immediate deletion is performed. For paid organizations (Subscription or Pay-as-you-go), a soft-deletion is performed. The default data retention setting for this operation is 7 days. To permanently delete the organization in 24 hours, set the retention parameter to MINIMUM.
5. Check other components configured along the way:
Load Balancer: You might have configured a load balancer to serve traffic internally/externally.
External Static IPs: if you reserved an external IP Address.
