Date field disappearing

I am developing a food redistribution app, there’s a food donation form that calculates a “Best Buy Date” based on the date the form is created and additional enum fields entries.

I have app formula that calculates all this and the formula is cleared in Appsheets with no errors, but any app formula causes the column to disappear in the form.

I have tried all different kinds of conditions, Show_if, everything and I find myself at a complete loss.

Has anyone encountered this before?

Is this for a from view or for a form that you are generating to give someone? Also if it is a virtual column you can’t use this in a form view it is generated after the sync or save.

This is for a form view and no it is not a virtual column it is a regular date column
