data sources and reports disappear in a new Google Looker Studio

Hello, I have the problem that my data sources and reports disappear in a new Google Looker Studio account.

Even if I share the data source with another account, the data and the report disappear from the account.

It usually takes one to two minutes and all the data is gone. After refreshing the page, nothing can be found. What could be the reason for this? I am trying to connect a Google Ads account.

If you need any further information on the solution, please let me know. I hope there is someone here who can help. The problem is unfortunately without any error message, as all data has simply disappeared as if nothing had been created.

same here, I think GA4 report or GA4 datasource has some bugs, and all my report is disappear, but search console and google ads report remain here.

I am also getting same problem, after creating a datasource it disappears from looker.

I have the same problem here, new data source would be disappeared after a few minutes.

What i noticed, is that when you first connect the data source it doesnt display you as the owner, and has the location as “my workspace” rather than “owned by me”

Same issue here, when i create new data source, location is “My workspace” and disappear somes minutes after… i can’t do anything

It seem it is okay now, the report is recover, and the owner is not blank now.

Same with me. New reports and data sources appear in the list as location “My workspace”, when all the other ones have the location “Owned by me”. After a few minutes they disappear.

Applies to both SQL Server and Google Sheets data sources

I am continuing to have this issue as well and the data sources continue to disappear for Google Ads.

I’m having the same issue. Any Data source or Report I’ve created today has disappeared after a few minutes of inactivity.

Same here but mine is doing it with BigQuery data sources, I’ve made a connection several times and within a couple mins I can no longer edit the data source in the report and it’s missing all together in my list of data sources.

Same problem here. If help someone, in the history of browser has a link to open the relatory that disappear. But don’t appear in my workspace :sob:

This issue persists, as of February 2025. Search Console, Analytics, other sources, happens with all new data sources created, regardless of data source. Been dealing with this for months.
