I want to use the Dashboard Diagnostics dashboard to understand usage of some dashboards I’ve built. I’m unable to get most of the tiles on this diagnostics dashboard to populate for any LookML dashboard (dashboards whose ID is not an integer), even when I navigate to the dashboard I’m interested in and click the “Dashboard performance summary” link under the three dots in the top right. It does work for user-defined dashboards. Has anyone else run into this and found a fix?
Hi - it looks like there is a ‘Dashboard ID as String’ filter on the ready-made Dashboard Diagnostics tiles that is excluding the LookML dashboards. As a workaround, I think the solution would be to recreate this dashboard yourself by going into the individual explores, clearing the filter for “Dashboard ID as String” and applying a filter for the LookML ID.
Having said that, I’m surprised that this does not work out of the box and I would encourage you to contact Support about this.
Hi @GavinW , thanks for this answer. I am able to get the tiles to work by removing the filter for “Dashboard ID as String” as you suggested and instead filtering on “Dashboard ID (Inclusive).”
