AppSheet relies on internal algorithms to determine the colors in the calendar view and does not provide direct control over these algorithms.
Please resolve this issue.
You CAN control which colors are used. Add a Color type column to your data rows, assign the color to be used for that rows Category and then use that Color Column in the Category property of the calendar. See the Event Color column in the images below. I do believe we are limited in our color choices unless that has been expanded in recent months.
