Cross filtering by selecting a field in table chart

Hi,

I am trying out cross filtering functionality by selecting a value from one of the field in a table chart.

The selection filters all available tiles in the dashboard except for the one which has been used for the cross filter.

As shown in the attached screenshot, I can see a square highlighting the selected value, but the table chart shows data for other cities too.

Can anyone please help me understand why this particular chart is not filtered for the selection?

I am also seeing this occur, and find it to be rather unintuitive if this is not a bug. When clicking a table row in a cross filtered dashboard Iā€™m expecting to have both that table and all other cross filtered elements to be filtered, as are other users of the dashboard.

Would love to hear if this is a bug or a feature and if there are any workarounds.
