Conversational Analytics API Now Supports Multiple Language-Specific SDKs

Along with the enhanced agent reasoning updates currently being rolled out, the Conversational Analytics API is now supported via multiple language-specific SDKs, making it easier to build data agents and conversational analytics experiences in your preferred development environment. These clients integrate with standard Google Cloud authentication and make it easier to embed natural-language querying with BigQuery, Looker, and Looker Studio.

The new SDKs are now available for:

How to get started

  1. Enable the Conversational Analytics API and grant yourself the required roles

  2. Install the SDK in your language of choice

  3. Use the SDK to create a data agent and start asking questions!

To see the Python SDK in action, explore the Streamlit Quickstart app or Codelab, and stay tuned for more examples in our other SDKs. For agentic workflows and CLI usage, be sure to check out the new Gemini CLI extensions (BigQuery, Looker) and MCP Toolbox for Databases tools (BigQuery, Looker).
