Compiling with the Dataform CLI is not working

Hi,

Since this morning, the Dataform compile command in the CLI has not been working. This issue is affecting my colleagues as well. However, compiling in the Dataform GUI still seems to work. I updated Dataform/cli to the latest version. It also doesn’t work when I create a new Dataform project (dataform compile took 10 minutes). Could it be related to the AWS outage, even though I cannot imagine how?

It’s working again. Although i’m still confused about why an internet connection is necessary for compiling, is it because of loading external node packages?

We have many jobs involving the triggering of Dataform compilations + invokations by Workflows that have failed today (error 500, error 400 package installation timed out)… I suspect there was/is an incident although GCP Service Health does not say so.
