I am using 2 actions to change the job status and I can’t find a solution to narrow the column width.
I have tried the view option and had it set to narrow: it doesn’t work.
I have adjusted the column width when the actions were not displayed inline and then displayed them again: some weird behavior where some views had the perfect column width, others too wide and others too narrow
I have changed the font size for the column to 0.3: no change
Because the column divider is missing on columns with inline actions, it can’t be done that way either.
There is no way to control the column widths in a table view. There are ways to influence it–as you’ve found–but no way to set it.
Try using Save & Verify Data the next time you save changes in the app editor. When Save & Verify Datais used, the app editor performs some additional checks and some data analysis. It uses the data analysis to adjust column widths to better suit the data.
