Hi @Haritha_Kawshan ,

Welcome to Google Cloud Community!

I’m sorry to hear that you are experiencing issues with your Google Cloud SQL databases. There are several potential causes for a database to become lost or unavailable. Some possible causes could include:

  • Hardware or infrastructure issues
  • Network connectivity problems
  • Configuration errors
  • Incorrect usage of the database or database management tools
  • Data corruption or other database errors
Without more information about your specific situation, it is difficult to determine the exact cause of the issue.

To troubleshoot and resolve the issue, it might be helpful to try the following:

  • Check the Cloud SQL logs for error messages or other clues about the cause of the problem
  • Verify that the database instance is running and healthy
  • Check for any recent changes that might have caused the issue (e.g., configuration changes, new code deployments, etc.)
  • Check for any known issues or maintenance events that could be affecting your database instance
If you are unable to resolve the issue on your own, you may want to consider reaching out to Google Cloud Support for further assistance. They may be able to provide more specific guidance based on your specific situation.

Thank you

Hi!

I had the same problem and couldn’t find any solution, the databases I created automatically disappeared after about a day.

I just recreated a database named “laptopshop” at 11:00 AM December 29, 2023 and when I checked again at 19:00 PM the same day, the database had been deleted.
Below is the log file link that I downloaded during the above mentioned period.

Please help me!
