For Cloud SQL Admin API v1 users.update, what documented handling applies to the User.password request field when setting a PostgreSQL user’s password?
Could you point to method-specific documentation covering these separately:
- The immediate successful response and the Operation retrieved later.
- Error responses, including validation errors.
- Cloud Audit Logs for this method.
- Any customer-visible service diagnostic or error logs that can include request information.
In particular, is the plaintext password omitted or redacted in these surfaces, and do customer-selectable logging settings affect that behavior? Please distinguish documented behavior from examples that simply happen not to show a password. Any explicitly undocumented surface or limitation would also be helpful.
