Cloud Domains: whois email confirmation link does not work, goes to Google Domains

I have transferred several domains from external to Cloud Domains and there seems to be a problem with the contact data verification system. The contact data verification emails (Titled “Google Domains: Confirm Registrant change”) contain a link “Confirm Registrant Change” that goes to “My Domains” in the context of Google Domains, which does not know about the Cloud Domains.

Edit: Even after clicking the links, which open the empty “My Domains” page, the Cloud Domains overview still shows “The registrant email address has not yet been verified” - Any help would be appreciated

I got issue id 9-4154000034678 asking Workspace support for this

Got a solution from workspace support: The link somehow goes to Google Domains because I chose to use the free Google Domains DNS for the domains while registering. Manually going to Google Domains<domain_name> I’m able to see the page for email verification.

this solution doesn’t work anymore, now you will get 404
