my CBSD is lower power(<30dbm) device, but it must be installed outdoors at a height of more than “6” meters. So do I need to register it as Cat A or Cat B from “the point of Google SAS Server”?

Hi @arthurem ,

For CBSD classification in the Google SAS system:

  • Category A applies to devices that:

    • Transmit at ≤30 dBm EIRP, and

    • Are installed outdoors at ≤6 meters, or indoors

  • Category B applies if:

    • The device is outdoors and installed >6 meters, regardless of power

Since your device is outdoors and installed above 6 meters, it must be registered as Category B, even though it’s low power.
