Hi,
I’ve purchased the AppSheet Publisher Pro plan, and my app is already Deployed, but I’m unable to make it fully public or generate a public link to share with my employees.
When I go to Manage → Collaborate & Publish, I don’t see the option to “Share app” or “Users”, and when I send the link to others, they receive an error (like “Template apps cannot be updated”).
I need my app to be fully public — accessible without sign-in — so my employees can fill in their monthly reports from their phones or computers.
Can someone from the AppSheet team please help me confirm my plan is correctly set and guide me on how to enable public access or get the correct public link?
Thank you!

Thanks @Steve !
Hello @יובל_לביא and welcome to the community!
The AppSheet Publisher Pro license is explicitly designated for the self-serve consumer channel. It is not designed to be used by customers who purchase licenses through Google Workspace or a Cloud seller/partner.
My recommendation is that, since you are deploying to employees and you are operating within an organizational structure that should be utilizing the Workspace-linked licensing channel, the app-creator must have an AppSheet Enterprise Plus subscription.
If you successfully deploy a public or unauthenticated app, every user who accesses it—including your employees if they access it without signing in—is considered a “guest user”. Each guest user requires an AppSheet User Pass license.
Note that if an employee accesses the public app from their phone and their desktop, that counts as two separate guest users consuming two User Pass licenses for that month.
Next Steps:
- Remove Standalone License: You should remove the Publisher Pro license purchased from.
- Upgrade for Public Deployment: If you absolutely require the ability to disable sign-in (making it fully public), you need to upgrade your creator license to AppSheet Enterprise Plus.
- License Users: You will need to license all users of the app.
- For internal users (employees) who sign in, you can decide whether they are provided with Enterprise Plus licenses (if they will be creating apps) or AppSheet User Pass (if they will be users).
- For any unauthenticated “guest users,” you could purchase the AppSheet User Pass.
