Hello there! I am trying to add a service account as the data credentials for a Big Query data source in Looker Studio following carefully the relevant guide. The issue is that when I click the update button the window vanishes and nothing happens (no errors just the window of the update data credentials closing). I checked in the console for errors and in the networking tab for any activity during or after the click of the Update button but nothing seems to be happening.
I would really it appreciate if anyone has any insights on this.

My client is having the same issue and I have replicated the issue on my end as well. I have found that changing the credentials of an existing data source seems to work fine.
It also seems that selecting “viewer credentials” also has the same effect, so appears to be more a bug with the pop-up / update button rather than an issue with the service account.
I’ve tried it in both free Data Studio and Data Studio Pro with the same issue occurring.
Any help sorting this out would be greatly appreciated.
