I wanted to release a static IP address I no longer need. However, when I was following the instructions at https://cloud.google.com/vpc/docs/reserve-static-external-ip-address#console_4, there is no “Release static address” option in the More actions menu. I tried to use CLI “gcloud compute addresses delete 34.82.179.135”, but it gave me error: "Could not fetch resource:
- Invalid value for field ‘address’: ‘34.82.179.135’. Must be a match of regex 'a-z?|[1-9][0-9]{0,19}". Does anyone know how to release it? Thanks!
