I’m trying to configure the OAuth Consent Screen for my Google Cloud project, but every time I click “OAuth consent screen” under APIs & Services, it redirects me to the OAuth Overview page. There is no option to choose app type (External/Internal), and no “Get started” flow appears.
I’ve tried the following but the issue persists:
Used a personal Gmail account (not Workspace)
Created a brand-new project
Used Incognito Mode to avoid session/caching issues
I found that this is because my app is under testing.
I asked it to deal with multiple user with Gmail O auth. You can publish
your app in GoogleAuthPlatform/Audience page or if you want to do a test,
you can add Test Users under that page.
I’m having the same problem. I had already configured the OAuth client to use Google Play Games services. It was working correctly, but yesterday my testers started reporting that they couldn’t log in to see the leaderboard. When I went into the Google console, I saw a message saying that I had to configure the OAuth consent screen before adding credentials (I already had the credentials). Now if I try to go to the “OAuth consent screen,” I’m redirected to the “OAuth overview” page.
I’m experiencing the exact same issue as described by @zachparkhere .
After completing all steps for OAuth Consent Screen (App Info, Audience, Contact Info, Finish) in a brand new Google Cloud project, it still redirects to the ‘OAuth Overview’ page, preventing access to ‘Scopes’ or ‘Test users’ tabs."
The ‘User Type’ option to initiate the configuration process (as would appear if the Consent Screen was truly unconfigured) is also missing from the Overview page.
The error message ‘You haven’t configured any OAuth clients for this project yet’ is displayed.
I have tried in Incognito mode and confirmed I have Owner role on the project.
My Project ID is w-08-lumi-test
Could a Googler please investigate this issue for my project? It seems to be a persistent platform bug blocking OAuth configuration
We all probably spend thousands, if not tens of thousands of usd a month, and we get absolutely no help, ever in return. Expecting a product we are paying for to work, should be the like the bare minimum.
