Vanzz @Vanzz - It is possible to “switch-rails” of a apigee-cluster. Meaning, spin a new cluster, replicate data and switch the load-balancer (cloud or on-prem LB F5). In this mode, you get the latest AMIs updates/patch-level of your OS.
It does take practice and tooling/automation, however it is possible. I’ve used successfully used this method in production ( 150 tps )

developer support to patch all proxy code ( your jump is several revs, which has breaking changes)
