C4A AlloyDB expanded region availability timeline?

Hello everyone!

I was wondering what the timeline is for the ability to run C4A in more regions for AlloyDB. This page currently lists 9 supported regions. I understand that this feature is in preview, but I was curious as to when support for Axion would be expanded to regions like us-west1.

It’s also pretty disappointing that the only instance option for AlloyDB is N2 when there’s fourth generation N4 instances widely available. Also curious why only N2 is available.

Hi @Joshua_Zou,

Since C4A is still in preview, there’s no official documentation yet on when region support will expand to places like us-west1. Same goes for N4 instance support. Best to keep an eye on the release notes for any updates on both fronts.
