When preselecting an item before clicking the select multiple checkmark it does not get added to the selection when clicking the select multiple checkmark. Nor is it distinguished from the rest of the selected. So it looks to be selected, but it is not.
Please provide more details about your setup so others of us can try to replicate the issue.
It looks like this is a Deck View in Desktop Mode where you have tapped the “Bulk Selection” option. Is that correct?
