I’m reporting a bug where Gemini is failing to generate videos with audio, even though it states that this is within its capabilities.
What happened?
I requested Gemini to generate a video. Gemini replied with an apology, stating that the generated videos have not included audio and that this is a technical issue on its end. It specifically mentioned that it’s “designed to generate videos with both visuals and sound” but isn’t doing so for my request, particularly when I asked for Tamil audio.
What did you expect to happen?
I expected Gemini to generate a video that includes audio, as its response indicates it should be capable of doing.
Steps to reproduce:
- Request Gemini to generate a video with audio (e.g., “Generate a video with Tamil audio.”).
- Observe Gemini’s response acknowledging the audio generation issue and its inability to provide a video with audio.
Frequency:
This seems to be a consistent issue when I request video generation with audio.
