Bot for External eventing with Google Sheets

Please Help!

Trying to set-up a bot for External eventing with Google Sheets.

I am sure that i do everything right but there is no resault.

Firstly I added and enabled extention

Created a bot.

and make a task

But bot launched only after changes in appsheet but no after any changes in spreedsheet

Monitoring shows following error

Perhaps you should check this:

  • All user accounts having access to the app, should have direct access to the sheet and have AppSheet events installed and authorized in their accounts.
  • All user accounts having access to the sheet, should have AppSheet Events installed and authorized in their accounts, and should also have access to the app.

But indeed only me is an active user. I’m an owner of sheet and an app.

Seems it something else…

Made pritty the same Bot in other app, but error looks simular:

Any luck getting this Issue addressed? I created a test application with just one sheet with App Events Turned On and AppSheet Bot / Event to send an email on update or add. But Nothing happening when I update the google sheet externally. I have logged the issue with support. I keep thinking I must be missing something really simple.

Support is working the issue. Looks like a bug of some sort.

There was an issue in the automation for external events. We have fixed the issue. Can you please give it a try now?
