Better integration with Google Sites?

Has there been any mention of better integration with Google Sites? We’d love to be able to embed private AppSheet Apps in to our Google Sites intranets, but it’s not possible at the moment as the AppSheet authentication will no work when embedded in Google Sites. Public apps work, but it’s the private apps we need.

Does anyone know if anything has been mentioned or worked upon? I believe the issue may be to the high security requirements for sign in, and may be down to Sites rather than AppSheet.

I was trying to do the same, I’d like to have a few sample apps of mine in my google sites page, but they simply don’t load properly.

Sample app alone could be embeded to any site using iframe. Just turn off “Required Sign In” for your sample app and test it.

This sounds funny, but I had past experience with the useless support team who are deaf to hear our voice. To embed the sample AppSheet app to iFrame, we need to turn off “Required Sign In”, while the app could be embeded before without turning off this option. I m not sure when this was started, but currently we can not embed the app by doing this setting. (while it USED TO work before Google aquisition.)

I claimed to the support desk at that time.

If we create a sample app in order to tell and coach someone else “how to use USEREMAIL() expression wiht AppSheet”, then we are not able to do that, as the app would return error.

Just a moron…

THANKS MAN

Hi there,

When embedding appsheet in a google site I encounter the issue that the view I indicate in the iframe seems to be “overriden” by Settings → View → General → Starting View. I have also tried to put this to blank.

This is the “Embed from the web” I am using:

Any ideas on how to address this or write the iframe in a way that forces the view?

Thanks!
