Bath Jobs mounted disk 'read only file system'

I am running a Batch Job and mounting a disk into “mountPath: /mnt/disks/batchjob-disk”. However, it says it is a ‘read only file system’.

Edit: The issue seems to come from the disk. When trying to mount it it says “WARNING: source write-protected”. Which only happens in Batch Jobs, because attaching and mounting this disk into a Compute Engine works flawlessly.

Could you provide more information about your job example that has the read only file system issue, such as job uid and job running region?

Hi @xarauzo , could you please share more about the volume configuration in your job? Just a head up, for existing pd, only ro is supported: https://cloud.google.com/batch/docs/create-run-job-storage#use-persistent-disk.
