When running jobs in Google Batch with image streaming enabled, I am occasionally getting the exact same sporadic exit code 202 with the same error messages as in this locked thread: google batch job fails randomly when using enable_image_streaming .
I never saw this exit code with image streaming disabled. For context, the workflow where I encountered this error spawns around 400 simultaneous Batch jobs each requesting a t2d-standard-1 VM. As far as I can tell, I am not hitting any quotas or system limits.
Here are some sample job IDs that encountered this issue. Interestingly, the majority of failures occurred at around the same time (2025-02-15 10:11:00 - 2025-02-15 10:14:00 PST).
