Appsheet with Sharepoint - make non app-generated images available for read by app

Hi there

I have set up appsheet with Sharepoint, and now have 3 apps. I have map files in .png that were not generated by an app, which I would like to make ‘visible’ to 2 of those apps so that the maps can be viewed inside the app.

My sharepoint structure looks like this, with the app folders, the image folders and the spreadsheet sitting at the same level.

The sharepoint site itself is set in the app at Info/Properties as the long SHAREPOINT_SITE_ID.com_xxxxx-xxxxxxx-xxxxxx///-123456

The apps are set to default for image saving, so they arrive in the _Images folders seen in the screenshot above.

In the spreadsheet, the images save in the usual format as per below

My question is - how would I get the app to look for images in another folder, say Store inspections_Images in the screenshot above? I’ve tried setting the image folder path (below) to the long sharepoint ID site, in quote marks, with one forward slash, 2 forward slashes, 3 forward slashes, and changed the name of the _Images folder in the spreadsheet, to no avail

AppSheet won’t “look for” files of any kind.
It uploads them (or generates them) to your file storage and you can only access to them by knowing the exact relative path to the file.

There is a feature where you can connect AppSheet directly to your GDrive account, but I doubt there will be interest from Google to open the same kind of feature to Microsoft users

Ok - I guess my question is, can I point the app to the location via that exact relative path? I.e. in a column in the spreadsheet, type the location of the file in the sharepoint folder?

Sure.
You could create manual relative path. Always remember that this relative path is from the worksheet POV, so, in general, you should place your worksheet higher on the folder hierarchy
