I’ve been trying for literal years to get help with an issue with an AppSheet account, however, their support is completely unable, incapable or unwilling to look into or even attempt to resolve the problem. Emails / tickets go unanswered or ignored for weeks (now going on months). Is there a direct line for support or am I just going to have to endure this issue forever?
Certain case they took a long time and some case they do fix it. To my experience
Hi,
Right now, the chat option in AppSheet support, I haven’t tried it, but it says less than a minute.

Hey DJWH, could you please share with me your case id so I can take a look? Thanks!
This case report and end up appsheet support said they can see the Auditor ID column. Of course if you are at the developer screen you can see it. And i found out that if you send to SCAN only mobile phone can see. Notebook webcam or desktop with webcam cannot use it. That to me does not serve all the purpose. The purpose here is SCAN not device. As long as the device has a webcam we should be able to use. At last I force to close this case and pray hard your next release has this feature improve
This case they can’t even do anything. If your picture image is too big when u copy the apps it take a few days and it got stuck usually at 90%. When you are at that dilemma you are stuck. You can delete that apps and you can’t finish that apps. It just stay at your apps list as an error apps. At last I talk to support group and show them a video clips that I and stuck and they delete it for. The funny if you choose copy file with huge image and you delete to uncheck copy huge image file it just stuck there. its a dead end. After appsheet delete 5 error apps for until today I don’t dare to copy any apps. Is there a solution ? The answer is not and jhopefullly next release will solve it.
This is a feature request, not a support request.
That’s is the problem. Appsheet technical support do not have answer and they are recycling the answer they answered before. They answer these 3 months ago if you read the chain email hostory. Of course I know this very well the common folder. But sometimes this cannot happen can’t the image column to direct an image to exact location ? And if you find this location it hardly find any useful explanation in the tutorial.
This is recycling answer !!! Do something different. Make thing easier and faster and more practical to configure and setup.

Hey Desmond, we’ve specifically synced for the ticket you are referring here. We were intentionally pointing out the solution here once again and see if you’ve seen and followed the instruction and resolved the issue. If you haven’t tried it please give it a try. If you believe the solution is not applicable please reply to us. Also, according to our support team, you’ve been away for an extended time since the start of the ticket therefore we want to make sure some communication from doesn’t fall through the crack.
We know it’s via Email so sometimes miscommunication could happen. Let’s chat more via the support email chain.
I appreciate your efforts, but I don’t think that option aligns with the
solution I’m seeking. As mentioned in my previous email, I had suggested a
simpler approach by inputting a link in the image column. If that solution
isn’t feasible, I believe it might be best to close the case, as it’s not
productive for me to wait without a clear path forward. Thank you for your
understanding.
Thanks & Best Regards,

That’s a problem on your end, not with AppSheet.
can’t the image column to direct an image to exact location ?
No. It’s never been able to. This is just how it works. You can use a Google Drive shortcut to get around the limitation, but that’s a Drive thing, not an AppSheet thing.
And if you find this location it hardly find any useful explanation in the tutorial.
So your concern is that the on-screen help doesn’t adequately explain how the path works and what its limitations are? I agree, but that level of detail there would be inappropriate. A link to the documentation would be worthwhile (attn @wabrian ?). The doc is explicit about the limitations:
It’s at the moment not able. I do not believe this cannot be achieve forever. It’s ok just leave it and I told Appsheet if they cannot do it and it never design in that way then its ok then we can just close case.
