Just starting this thread to act as a central point of coordination on this topic.
Starting earlier today around 11am pacific time, creators/users of some apps reported that CardView was rendering in large layout even if the intended/specified layout was another layout type.
As of 4:22 pm pacific time, the issue will still be affecting some apps. We are currently working on further mitigations for those affected users.
This community thread post was also raised earlier today on this issue. I want to thank @Matheus_Souza , @maverik88 , and @Steve from that thread, but for coordination purposes we’ll use this announcement thread instead.
Before the mitigation was deployed, the workaround was to revert to an app version earlier than 11am pacific time Friday Sep 13.
