App Engine: 3 Ways: Challenge Lab

So there is something wrong with the App Engine: 3 Ways: Challenge Lab - ARC112.

I have managed to clear all tasks except Task 2. Download the Hello World app
No matter what, it shows an error stating to download the app using language of your choice. I tried running the commands multiple times, refreshed the task page and restarted the vm instance to no avail.

Anyone else facing the same issue?

If you’re referring to this lab, then clicking the download helloworld app link led to me a section with Github links to different languages.

Clicking any of the Github links opens the relevant Github repository and you can then download the App from there.

Note: I’m not signed in to the Cloud Skills Boost Website

I am not sure how to download the app from github repo. What I did was re-read the Task 2. Download the Hello World app after a short break to de stress.

  1. Download a simple Hello World app from the relevant repository according to your choice of language for deploying the web application on the VM instance lab-setup at the $HOME directory (~/).

I noticed it mentioned instance and so ran the command to download in SSH and voila, task 2 was done after multiple attempts to find a solution.

For future reference, look for the code menu, click it and you can sometimes see a link to download a zipped file
