Check out the below tip from Kirk_Masden. That’s better than mine. (I posted this topic because I didn’t see his tip in search according to my searching keyword.)
If you use “Save and verify” instead of the normal “Save” after editing a table, the platform should adjust the width of your columns appropriately. But, sometimes the platform may not do what you want it to. For example, in the following example “Word” is a virtual column and, for whatever reason, “Save and verify” did not expand the width to accommodate the text in the column on the third row: [Screen Shot 2020-11-16 at 20.48.29] My solution was to add Japanese spaces to the title: [Scree…
I have the reverse problem.
I had the perfect spacing before. not sure if something changed but i noticed
several of my apps the spacing is now too wide.
I have checked Column width and it set to narrow…not sure what to do as now my app no longer fits my screen
Perhaps a hint can be taken from what happens to the cursor when it is successfully “grabbed” in iOS: [IMG_000890.PNG] The vertical bar is elongated, making it possible to see it under your finger. So, how about something like this? (Imagine the user’s finger on the line between “RN” and “Word.”) [IMG_000889.PNG] As with the cursor, everything should go back to normal when you take your finger off. Or, perhaps some sort of magnifying class type effect would be good.
You have to drag the bar separating the columns but it can be a little hard.
Any novelty about the control of the width of the columns? It is true that the user can modify the width, but when he goes to another view, when the columns return they are in the original size, and when a field must have a text that is visible for the most part, this is very annoying. Thank you so much.
