I am brand new to AppSheet and have just built my first ever app that requires a picture as evidence of a completed job.
Everything is working great and the pictures are saving in my folder as set up, but i want the automation to send an email once the job has been updated with the evidence picture as an attachment or in the body of the email - NOT as a link (which is as far as i have been able to get)
Is this possible? can someone please guide me to the right solution.
You may want to share how you are including pictures in the automation template.
Generally pictures taken through app , should show up in the email body as images. Example below screenshot where fruits images are showing in the template.
Yes this is possible. In one email automation you will the menu “ATTACHMENT SETTINGS”, then you scroll down the page and you’ll see the menu “other attachments” there you’ll use a formula to reference the image columns you want and it will attach the images.
