Add Contact

How to add a phone number in the App to a Cell Phone Contact? Is there a way to make a function for this?

Are you trying to take a number in the app and add it to your cell phones contacts?

This can also help. But both require using appsheets as your contacts list. The info would be filtered into a slice view. Slice would be called contacts. You would make an action to make a call. Then the app would initiate a call from your mobile device

When you use the “Make a call” action in AppSheet, the call is initiated from the device you are using to run the app. Here’s how it works:

  1. Mobile Device: If you are using the AppSheet app on a mobile device (iOS or Android), the call will be made using the phone number associated with that device. Essentially, it behaves as if you manually dialed the number on your phone.

  2. Web Browser: If you are using the AppSheet app in a web browser on a computer, clicking the “Make a call” action typically prompts the browser to use any available calling software (like Skype, Google Voice, or another VoIP service) installed on your computer. The phone number used would be associated with the calling software, not your mobile phone number.

In both cases, the call is made using the number associated with the device or calling service, not a different or hidden number.
